Supporting Your Autistic Child Through Anxiety

Practical, neuroaffirming guidance to help you understand your child’s anxiety, recognise what may be happening underneath, and identify supportive strategies for home and everyday life.

About Equally Different Therapy

Equally Different Therapy is a specialist psychological therapy and assessment service supporting children, young people, adults and families. Our team brings together experience across psychological therapy, CBT, counselling, autism assessment, cognitive assessment, neurodivergence and SEND.

We work with both neurodivergent and non-neurodivergent clients, tailoring support to the individual rather than expecting people to fit a standard approach. Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, low mood, school difficulties, emotional wellbeing or understanding their neurodivergence, our aim is to provide thoughtful, practical support that genuinely fits.
