Equally Different Therapy Ltd. provides a number of private mental health services and work with children, young people, adults and families with a range of mental health difficulties. We use various modes of support including talking therapy, counselling, and workshops, we can also offer online or face to face appointments depending on your preferences and location.

30 minute telephone conversation with parents/care givers.
1.5 hour visit to school.
Standardised and non-standardised assessments.
A comprehensive report.

Functional observations of the individual within both of these settings.
A comprehensive report that will outline the full sensory profile of a person (including sensory processing and sensory motor factors), the outcomes of the assessments as well as detailed and useable, tailored advise to best help the individual manage their sensory processing needs in school setting and what others can do to help.
This advice is tailored to help an individual feel more regulated and less anxious.
This report is then yours to distribute to who ever would benefit from reading it and can be used when gathering evidence for an EHCP’s.

Therapy & Counselling

Initial Assessment

An initial assessment is firstly carried out so that we can assess your needs, understand your goals and plan for appropriate intervention.
This generally takes 1.5 hours.

Session with Psychologist or CBT Therapist

Therapy sessions can be held in person or through secure online sessions.
The number of sessions you require will be discussed with you prior to commencing.
Each session is 50 minutes.

Counselling

Counselling is a way of enabling choice or change or of reducing confusion.
It does not involve giving advice or directing a client to take a particular course of action.
