Professional training that turns understanding into practice
Practical, neuroaffirming and trauma-informed training for schools, alternative provisions and organisations supporting children, young people and families.
Training that goes beyond awareness
Professionals are often given information about diagnostic labels without enough help translating that knowledge into everyday practice.
Our sessions combine current psychological understanding with practical, realistic approaches that teams can use in their own settings. Training is thoughtful, interactive and adapted to the people you support.
Featured training
Beyond Behaviour in Alternative Provision
Autism, ADHD, Connection & Regulation
A focused, interactive session for professionals supporting young people with complex and often overlapping needs. The training moves beyond behaviour-management strategies to explore nervous-system regulation, sensory load, executive functioning, communication, relationships and a young person’s sense of safety.
90 minutes • Live online or in person • Tailored to your setting
What your team will take away
Depending on the session and your organisation’s needs, participants will develop their ability to:
- Understand autism and ADHD beyond common stereotypes
- Recognise when behaviour may communicate distress, overload or an unmet need
- Consider why the same visible behaviour can have different underlying causes
- Understand the effects of sensory load, regulation and executive-functioning differences
- Use simple psychological formulation to make sense of complex situations
- Communicate in ways that reduce threat and support connection
- Identify practical changes that can be used immediately
