What to expect from Equally Different Therapy & Counselling

A free initial 20 minute consultation to ensure that we are able to meet your needs and expectations.

Following on we will have an Initial assessment of needs (90 mins) to explore your current difficulties and history, and to learn about your aims for therapy.  Following on from this a detailed report with an intervention plan.

Therapy sessions will then begin at agreed times and consistencies.  The number of sessions required is dependent on the person and will be discussed with you at the assessment stage.

Why Equally Different Therapy & Counselling might be right for you

Therapy serves as a support system for mental health issues or challenging times. During therapy sessions, individuals engage with a therapist to talk about their challenges and learn new skills. These skills aid in managing emotions, improving well-being, and addressing specific challenges.

To talk about your worries/difficulties in a non-judgemental and safe space

To learn new skills that can help manage when challenges arise

To work out problems

To find your strengths

We can support adults with understanding themselves after diagnosis of Autism or Adhd. We also have an CBT therapist that specialises in adult therapy for a range of conditions.
